A Note from the FEELC Parent Board:
Dear Parents,
We are holding an All Parent Meeting to discuss Teacher Retention and Staffing on Tuesday, May 7th at the EPA Auditorium C111C at 12pm. We would like for this meeting to be mandatory. We need all parents to attend so you can fully understand the situation and provide your feedback.
North Carolina and the entire country are continuing to face a staffing crisis in early childcare centers (Please see the article below). FEELC is not immune to this, although we have been faring better than most, but we do not see this problem going away. The applicant pools are just not what they used to be and we want to keep our community intact and continue to provide the highest quality school environment for our children.
Please attend so you can hear and provide feedback on our ideas for addressing this issue and ways we believe can help us stay ahead of the curve.

On Durham Community days, Durham County residents get in free with current proof of residence. All adults must have Durham residency to get in free; each adult can bring up to five children. Guests without current proof of residency will need to pay for tickets at check-in.

**This holiday is designated as "Washington’s Birthday" in section 6103(a) of title 5 of the United States Code, which is the law that specifies holidays for Federal employees. ACCESS TO TUITION RECEIPTS FOR TAX PREP
As a reminder, you are able to access your First Environments tuition receipts through our Procare system online portal. More information is available on the Procare Portal Instructions page; it provides directions on how to set up an account so that you can access your child's tuition receipts. You just have to make sure you set up your account with the email address where you usually receive your Friday updates.
